Seminars:
The Dramatist’s Toolkit (1-1½ hours) is a whistlestop tour of the techniques and processes used to create drama, and what makes writing drama distinct from other forms of writing. The session covers dramatic structure and scene design as well as character, theme and narrative drive. Through application of these techniques to their own practice, the attendee will be able to write authentic pieces, drawn from their own knowledge and experience.
Finding Your Own Voice (2 -2½ hours) explores how a writer can use the form of drama to explore what is closest to them, be these social/ personal issues, political or emotional themes. Through exercises and insight the workshop encourages each attendee to identify the issues that matter to them, and demonstrates how to approach, investigate, excavate and explore these individual concerns.
Bespoke Seminars and Workshops (Times to suit) these can be adapted from existing workshops or designed afresh to suit.
